The HIMA MAEXTRO S800 will officially debut and commence deliveries at the Shenzhen Auto Show in late May. The vehicle will introduce six intelligent technologies, three of which are world-first innovations for the MAEXTRO S800: the Turing Dragon Drive Platform, Angel Seat Active Safety Protection, and Huawei Galaxy Communication. The remaining three technologies will receive iterative upgrades: Harmony ALPS Cabin 2.0, Huawei Car Language System 2.0, and Huawei Whale Battery 2.0.
Turing Dragon Drive Platform
This platform pioneers a fully integrated architecture, claiming to be the industry’s first autonomous intelligent digital chassis. As a distributed electronically controlled flexible platform, it employs distributed electric drive, supports 7,000-12,000 N·m torque output, accommodates semi-active and fully active suspension systems, and adapts to sedans, SUVs, and MPVs.
The platform enables full-dimensional environmental perception, constructing real-time road spatial models. Its object recognition capability has been upgraded to continuous spatial modeling, with claimed 100x resolution improvement in road condition modeling, ensuring adaptability to all terrains, weather conditions, and scenarios.
The MAEXTRO S800 sedan will debut this platform, with official claims that its autonomous control technology handles extreme road conditions for "super-agile" performance. During front-wheel blowouts on wet surfaces, the vehicle maintains trajectory without steering wheel intervention. At 120 km/h, it reportedly sustains stable control even after a front-left tire failure.
With a 3.37m wheelbase, the MAEXTRO S800 achieves 16° maximum rear-wheel steering (12° physical structure + 4° platform compensation), resulting in a 5.05m turning radius—smaller than the 2.52m-wheelbase BMW Mini. In extreme conditions, it achieves a 3.8m radius, surpassing A0-class vehicles in maneuverability.
